Jamal Blackman

Jamal is a locally grown culinary talent with a deep passion for both local and international cuisine. As Head Chef at O2 Beach Club & Spa, he masterfully blends the richness of Barbados’ locally sourced ingredients with global flavors to create dishes that appeal to an international palate. His innovative approach brings a true taste of the island to every plate, showcasing the best of Caribbean creativity and culinary excellence.

Tanmoy Kushary

Tanmoy is the Executive Chef at O2 Beach Club & Spa.  He is originally from India, where his culinary journey began. Tanmoy’s style is described as globally inspired yet firmly rooted in local traditions. He emphasises seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine, sustainability, and freshness.

Rynaldo Joseph

Rynaldo, Senior Chef at Sea Breeze Beach House, is a member of the Barbados National Culinary Team, and he earned silver for Chef of the Year at the 2024 Taste of the Caribbean and placed second in the Ocean Hotels Barbados Iron Chef 2024 competition.

Rickeena Kirton

Rickeena is the Senior Sous Chef at O2 Beach Club & Spa and a proud member of the Barbados National Culinary Team. She earned silver for Pastry Chef of the Year at the 2024 Taste of the Caribbean and will help defend Barbados’ title when participating in the 2025 competition.

Akelia Marshall

Akelia, a talented Sous Chef at O2 Beach Club & Spa and won the Ocean Hotels Barbados Iron Chef 2024, excelling among 13 contestants. Judges praised her creativity, flavour combinations, presentation, and technical skill—especially her use of mystery ingredients and her vegan, gluten-free starter that showcased remarkable culinary finesse.

Taneisha Shepherd

Barbadian visual artist and educator explores cultural folklore, identity, and symbolism through mixed media. A Barbados Community College BFA graduate, she’s exhibited widely, led youth art initiatives, created murals like Peace (2023), and launched Sturdy Feet Event Rentals in 2025, featuring handmade 3D sculptures.

Brandon Best

Brandon Best is a Barbadian visual artist whose expressive acrylic paintings explore cultural identity, music, and social commentary. Influenced by jazz and Bajan life, his dynamic, colourful works blend abstract expressionism and street art. Brandon’s pieces have been featured in exhibitions, including the 2021 FIREFLY Art Gallery showcase.

Sian Pampellonne

Sian Pampellonne is a Barbados-based mixed-media artist known for exploring identity, emotion, and hidden truths. Mentored by her grandfather, Gordon Parkinson, she works with acrylics, fabrics, beads, and found objects. Her bold, textured pieces have featured in solo and group exhibitions across Barbados and beyond.

To complete the experience, each dish is paired with a bespoke cocktail curated by Bar Manager Rohan Hackshaw or an expertly chosen wine. These thoughtful pairings elevate the cuisine and enrich the connection to the artwork, creating a seamless harmony of flavor, artistry, and atmosphere. 

As the Bar Manager at O2 Hotel Beach Club and Spa, Rohan has had the privilege of successfully competing in several competitions, including being chosen as the Mixologist Coach on the Barbados National Culinary Team for the upcoming 2025 Taste Of The Caribbean.
