By taking some steps our hotel guests can play a part in promoting sustainability and protecting the environment during their stay with us.
- Reduce energy consumption: Turn off lights, turn off air conditioning when the sliding doors are open, and turn off other electronics when not in use.
- Save water: Take shorter showers, reuse towels, and don't let the tap run while brushing teeth or shaving.
- Reduce waste: Use reusable water bottles instead of disposable ones, avoid single-use plastics, and recycle whenever possible.
- Support local businesses: Choose local restaurants and shops to support the local economy and reduce carbon emissions from transportation.
- Eco-friendly options: Our hotel prioritizes sustainability and eco-friendliness, by using renewable energy sources, recycling and even the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products.
- Rent electric cars: there are several companies in Barbados that offer electric cars for rent. Additionally, there is a charging station located at O2 Beach Club & Spa and there are charging stations throughout the island to support the use of electric vehicles.
- Leave no trace: Respect the environment and don't litter or damage the natural areas when exploring Barbados.
Evening dining is subject to reservations and should be booked
with Dining Concierge (dining@o2beachclubbarbados.com) up to two or three days in advance.
If you cancel outside of the Penalty Period (detailed below), 100% of the deposit will be refunded less a US$25 processing fee.
If the cancellation is received within the Penalty Period (detailed below), 100% of the deposit will be forfeited.

The Check-in time at O2 Beach Club & Spa is 4 pm. The Check-out time is 11 am. Luggage and large items may be stored with the bellman if you arrive prior to check-in or depart after check-out. Early Check ins and late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur an additional cost.
A maximum seating of 8 persons is allowed per table for dinner and must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Guests can make a maximum of 2 dinner table reservations prior to arrival. Additional bookings can be made upon arrival at the hotel.
A late check-out can (only) be confirmed on the departure day, as it is based on availability. Also please note that it maybe necessary for you to move into another room (subject to that day's arrivals). If a late check-out is confirmed there is a fee of USD$40 per hour after 11:00 AM.
Room Service is available at O2 Beach Club & Spa between 11:00 AM and 9:30 PM (last order 9.30 PM) and there is a Tray Charge of US$20.00.
O2 Beach Club & Spa accepts VISA, MasterCard and Amex. Your choice of credit card will be charged according to the payment terms detailed at the time of your reservation.
At O2 Beach Club there are three unique pools including an adult-only river pool. Please note that for safety reasons and on duty staff, the closing time of Jacuzzi & pool is 8:00 pm.
Our Whirlpool tubs are heated by the sun and are usually a very warm temperature, on cloudy days you might find that the water temperature is a little 'refreshing'.
The official currency of Barbados is Barbadian dollars and we can exchange foreign currency to Barbadian dollars at the Front Desk of the hotel. The Barbados dollar is converted at the rate of 2:1 to the US dollar. You can withdraw cash at any one of the many ATMs on the island and you can use US dollars everywhere in Barbados but you’ll get your change in Barbados dollars.
Please remember that some banks require you, prior to departure, to provide the dates that you'll be traveling to Barbados, in order to have easy access to your credit cards while away.
We are happy to advise that at O2 Beach Club & Spa a service charge is already included in your All-Inclusive room rate and the total amount goes directly to the hotel and back of house staff monthly. We truly believe that they are integral to your experience and it's only right that they receive this contribution. However, if you feel you have had extra special service, you may tip hotel staff directly. Alternatively, you may choose to leave a team gratuity by handing an envelope to the Front Desk Manager labeled as such, and this will be shared with all hotel and back-of-house staff members.

O2 Beach Club & Spa is an All-Inclusive hotel. The daily room rate includes all-day gourmet dining, premium label drinks and all house brand beverages, complimentary daily 'How To' classes, non-motorized water sports and a bottle of bubbly and beach bag on arrival. The legal drinking age in Barbados is 18 years. It is illegal in Barbados to sell or supply alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 years
The Room Rate Levy is part of the Barbados Government fiscal measures to help stabilise the country’s economy. The Government imposed Room Rate Levy is US 9.63 / BDS 19.25 per bedroom, per night and is payable directly at the resort.
Absolutely, if you book a luxury suite or higher there are no restrictions to the number of visits to Sea Breeze Beach House. However, as you can appreciate, it is always subject to availability and at times of very high occupancy and special occasions it may be unavailable or restricted to a set number of people per day or evening.

Casual attire is appropriate throughout the day. Swimwear must be covered up and shoes, sandals or flip-flops are required in the lobby and our restaurants.

For ladies, dresses, skirts, cotton or linen dress slacks or shorts, dressy blouses, heels, or sandals. Men's clothing should include a shirt with a collar, polo-style shirt, long trousers/slacks /smart jeans or smart shorts, sandals, shoes, loafers or top-siders.
ELEGANT RESORT ATTIRE
The dress code at Oro is elegant resort attire. Gentlemen are requested to wear a shirt with a collar or a polo-style shirt, long pants/trousers, loafers or top-siders. Sports jackets are optional. Ladies are requested to dress to impress and wear dresses, skirts, dressy blouses & slacks with heels or evening sandals.
Oro Restaurant table reservations are required and are accepted within two weeks of your arrival. Reservations can be made online: dining@O2beachclubbarbados.com However to allow all guests to enjoy the Oro experience, a limit on the number of table reservations per group may be required based on your length of stay and during periods of high occupancy.
The climate in Barbados is tropical with temperatures ranging from 25 – 30 degrees Celsius / 77 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The wet Season is from June through November, and the dry season is from December through May. Brief heavy showers are common throughout the year. We call that Liquid Sunshine!

Barbados is rarely affected by severe weather due to its geographic location. The island is situated to the far east of the Caribbean Sea, in the southeastern part of the West Indies. This positioning places Barbados outside of the main hurricane belt. However, guests are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance in place for such unexpected circumstances.
In the event of an official severe weather system warning/watch issued for or by the island of Barbados resulting in closed airports or cancelled flights:
- For guests who are unable to arrive in Barbados due to either airport closure or flight cancellations, they can make a ONE TIME date change & rebook at no additional charge (subject to availability). Guests opting to fully cancel their holiday and not rebook will result in full cancellation penalties. THERE ARE A FEW REGULATIONS CONCERNING AGE WHICH ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Guest must be 18 years or older to reserve a room or to drink alcohol. There are specially dedicated 'Adult Only' areas on property for guests who are over 17 yrs old these include the River Pool and the Brisa Pool and Deck and accessing the Sun Terrace. You must be 17 years or over to stay in our Club Rooms and Luxury Suites.

Tap water is perfectly safe to drink in Barbados as the island as the coral stone acts as a natural filter. We encourage our guests by offering the local tap water as our still water offering as this is also part of our sustainability policy to avoid bringing unnecessary amounts of bottled water (and its corresponding packaging) onto the island. However, bottled water and internationally branded sparkling water is available on request.

All public areas are completely wheelchair accessible, and we strive to provide the best for all of our O2 Beach Club & Spa guests. While the hotel does not have any specific handicap rooms, the showers have a small 2” step to enter and we can provide handicap shower chairs for guests on request. The resort has a voltage capacity of 110V for U.S. and Canadian electric razors, hair dryers and other standard electrical equipment used in guest rooms. All European appliances require an adapter.

O2 Beach Club & Spa is approximately a 15 minute drive from the airport. One roundtrip airport transfer per booking to and from the resort is offered complimentary for guests who book direct on our official website for stays of four nights or more by contacting guestservices@o2beachclubbarbados.com.
Should members of your group arrive and depart Barbados at different times, please provide the name of the individual(s) who will be using the free transfer and their arrival and departure flight details. Our representative, identifiable by a sign displaying their name, will be ready to greet them outside of the arrivals hall at the airport.
Should airport transfers be required beyond the complimentary service, we are pleased to make the arrangements and advise the additional costs. Taxis are also readily available at Barbados Grantley Adams Airport.
Guests are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance in place for such unexpected circumstances. In the event of official airline delays or cancellations for whatever reason that might result in guest arrival a day or more later than planned, O2 Beach Club & Spa will offer guest a voucher to the value of the nights rate towards an extended or future stay.

Please note an optional donation to the Tourism Fund of Barbados will be applied to your account of US$1 per day which allows guests "give back" to the island in a direct and meaningful way. REFUNDABLE POLICY
A three night deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the balance of payment to be made upon check in to O2 Beach Club & Spa.
NON-REFUNDABLE POLICY
Full payment is required in order to secure your reservation, and this payment is non-refundable, non-modifiable and non-transferable.
For guests that have booked through a third party travel agent or tour operator, please contact them directly to confirm their deposit policies.
Please note room requests and bedding configuration requests are not guaranteed, however we will do our best to try and accommodate requests. Requests are to be sent to stay@oceanhotels.bb.

Please note that the credit card used to make the booking and pay any deposits must be presented at the time of check-in with proof of ID (both photographic and signature).
There is a mandatory incidental deposit taken at check in by either credit card or via a cash deposit. Guests are recommended to activate signing privileges by allowing a deposit of US$250.00 to be authorized on their card or they can decline this service and deposit a fixed amount of US$250 in cash. All unused amounts of the deposit will be refunded on departure.
If a guest wishes to check out from the hotel early, the refund will be based on the total stayed room nights plus 3 unused nights. The balance of the reservation will be refunded to the guest, if the reservation was made directly with the hotel. If this was done through a tour operator, then the refund will be done through the tour operator.
Please note - If you've made a non-refundable reservation, there will be no refund provided for early check-outs.
All areas of the hotel are non-smoking and non-vaping. This includes all rooms, suites, balconies, corridors, public areas, restaurants, and bars. Failure to comply will result in a US$250 charge to your guest account.
At the hotel, there are designated smoking/vapor areas with signs.
All COVID protocols have been removed from the hotel and the island. However, the wearing of masks by guests and staff still remains optional. To maintain good public hygiene we still recommend that guests wash their hands frequently and also use the hand sanitising stations at the entry to the buffet areas.
Yes, kindly note that the Barbados Covid Lab is able to provide both Rapid Antigen and PCR testing at O2 Beach Club & Spa daily from 1:00pm to 2:00pm each day and will do so during those hours once appointments have been scheduled for the day by booking on this link https://www.barbadoscovidlab.com/ocean-hotels/ . Please note that the booking window closes the night before testing, so persons are advised to schedule their tests at least one day before they require their test results.
